Ms. Heather Diane Shepherd, age 34, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017, at Residence. Shepherd was born on August 3, 1983, in Lanier County, Georgia to Tommy Stracener and Ruby Nell Smith Stracener.

Survivors include: her mother, Ruby Nell Smith Stracener of Nicholls, GA; father, Tommy Stracener of Nicholls, GA; daughter, Alivianah Shepherd of Nicholls, GA; son, Austin Shepherd of Nicholls, GA; sister, Tammy and husband Richard Hailey; brother, Michael and wife Wanda Stracener of Nicholls, GA.; special friend, Aaron Shepherd, of Alma, GA.; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Friday, December 15, 2017, at Sims Funeral Home.

Will lie-in-state Saturday 1 p.m.-2 p.m. at the New Bethel Holiness Baptist Church on Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the New Bethel Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating.
