Mr. Paul Ray Patterson, age 75 of Douglas, GA passed away Tuesday morning, December 12, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Patterson, a native of Martel, Knox County, TN was born April 24, 1942 to the late Walter Theodore Patterson and the late Eula Mae Sowards Patterson.

Mr. Patterson was a veteran of the US Air Force where he was a Propeller Specialist Mechanic.

Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Snow Patterson of Douglas, GA; daughters: Becky Patterson of Lake Charles, LA and Karen Meeks of Lake City, FL; step-son, Bruce Snow Larkin of Lake City, FL; step-daughter, Lisa B. Moak of Ocala, FL; brother, James Patterson of Jacksonville, FL; sisters: Mary Tibbott and Brenda Woods Patterson both of Jacksonville, FL; 6 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Chapel in Glennville, GA. The interment followed in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
