Mr. Allen Wayne Vickers, age 64 of the Mora community, passed away Friday morning, December 22, 2017 at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Vickers was born December 12, 1953 to the late Henry Floyd Vickers and Barbara Deese Vickers.

Survivors include: his wife, Norma Lynne Luke Vickers of Willacoochee, GA; children: Alanna Harper and Seth Vickers both of Willacoochee, GA, April McGuire of Orange, Texas, Brian Vickers of Homerville, GA, Alyssa Vickers of Savannah, GA; special friend, Ginger Paulk of Willacoochee, GA and her 3 children Mark Ladson of Nashville, GA, Chrystal Vining of Douglas, GA, Sandra Hudson of Broxton, GA; mother, Barbara Deese Vickers of Willacoochee, GA; brothers: Floyd Vickers and his wife Gloria of Jacksonville, FL, James Kenneth Vickers and his wife Glenda of Willacoochee, GA; sister, Patricia McGovern and her husband Randy of Pearson, GA; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was held on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home where Rev. Steve Gentry officiated. The interment followed in Arna Cemetery in Atkinson County.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
