Mrs. Pauline Vivian King, age 77, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Candler Hospital. Mrs. King was born on April 8, 1940, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Paul Yarberry and Ella Carver Yarberry.
Survivors include: her daughters: Cindy (Sage) Barnwell of Broxton, GA, Debbie (Lamar) Poole of Pearson, GA, Dana (Michael) Williams of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Jeremy Brantley, Brandy Torres, Michelle Gurley, Allie Barnwell, Josh Williams, Andrew Williams, and Joel Williams; 14 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Betty Long.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by: her father, Paul Yarberry; mother, Ella Carver Yarberry; brothers: Buddy Yarberry, Johnny Yarberry, Thomas Yarberry, J.V. Yarberry; sisters: Allowee Purvis, Jane Windhaus, Lillian Norris, Mary Ellen Thompkins, Lillie Solomon, Doll Curry, Jac Cox and Frankie Litchfield.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home where Rev. Gregory Pope officiated. Interment followed at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.
