Mr. Robert Terrell Story, age 56, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018, at residence. Mr. Story was born on March 4, 1961, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Bobby Story and Bernice Music Story. Mr. Story was formerly employed by the City of Douglas as a fireman and police officer. He served several years as an EMT with the Emergency Management Agency.

Survivors include: his daughter, Jennifer and husband Richard Deen of Douglas, GA; son, Dewayne Story of Douglas, GA; sisters: Angela and husband Greg Griffis of Douglas, GA and Debbie and her husband Wendell Smith of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Cole Slone, Tayleigh Slone, Ansleigh White, Mariah Story, and Brooklyn Taylor.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Bernice Music Story; father, Bobby Story; son, Ryan Story; and sister, Rhonda Kerns.

A Graveside Service was held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery where Rev. Jimmy Music officiated. Songs for the service were “Amazing Grace” by Steve Music and “Fishing in the Sky” by cd.

Active Pallbearers: Chris Griffis, Steve Music, Joey Vincent, Junior Benefield, Junior Music, and Sean Rhymes. Honorary Pallbearers were: Larry Music, Richard Deen, Dwight Carver, Greg Griffis, and Brian Graham.

Interment followed at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
