Mrs. Emma “Dell” Delores Davis, age 81, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, in Douglas, GA. Mrs. “Dell” was born on October 9, 1936 in Douglas, GA to the late Troy Davis and Lucille McKinnon Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter, Beth and husband Larry D. King of Denton, GA; son, Troy “Bubba” and wife Lisa Kirby of Plant City, FL; sisters: Judy Davis of Douglas, GA and Ann Wilson of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Matt McCall, Cash McCall, Troy Kirby, Jr., Amber Kirby Clark, and Caitlin Roberts; great-grandchildren: Dylan Kirby, Jayda McCall, Lane McCall, Brooklyn Rollins, Ezra McCall and Joshua McCall. She was preceded in death by: her first husband, Randy Relihan, second husband, Billy Davis; father, Troy Davis; mother, Lucille McKinnon Davis; and daughter, Kathy Kirby McCall.
Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery where the Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiated, Special Song for service; “Go Rest High On That Mountain” was sung by soloist David Smith.
Active Pallbearers were: Matt McCall, James Clark, Troy Kirby, Jr., Clark Battle, Ricky Wood and Donnie Beasley. Honorary Pallbearers are: Curtis Wright, Buster McKinnon and Larry McKinnon. Interment to follow at the Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
