Mrs. Mehrunnisa Y. Patel, age 71 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Mrs. Patel was a native of Bharuch, India however she had lived in the United States for a number of years.
Survivors include: her husband, Yakub Patel of Dallas, TX; children: Imran Patel of Dallas TX, Irfan Patel of Douglas, GA, Shirin Patel of Canada; brothers: Mubarak Kathiya, Yususf Kathiya, Gulanm Kathiya and Yakub Kathiya all of Douglas, GA; sister, Zubeha Patel of India
Mrs. Patel was taken to Rahma Funeral Home in Dallas, TX where interment then followed in Denton Muslim Cemetery.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
