Mrs. Evelyn Caves Flanders, age 81, of Pearson, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Douglas, GA. Mrs. Flanders was born on June 19, 1936 in Coffee County, GA to the late Albert Caves and Lillie Batten Caves. She was a member of Mora Baptist Church, of Willacoochee, GA.
She is survived by: her sons: PeeWee Flanders and wife DeAnn Flanders, Alma, GA and Tommy and wife Nelda Flanders of Douglas, GA; daughter, Mrs. Debbie and husband Henry Smith of Pearson, GA; sister, Nadine Walker of Statesboro, GA; brothers: Glen Caves of Douglas, GA, and Sammy Caves of Columbus, GA; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by: her husband, Thomas Flanders.
The funeral service was held at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Mora Baptist Church where Rev. Dennis Harper and Rev. Bobby Fussell officiated.
The interment followed at Arna Church Cemetery.
