Mrs. Margie Lee Fussell Boggan, age 84 of Ambrose, GA, passed away Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Boggan was born June 2, 1933 to the late Youngie Fussell, Sr. and the late Pecola Whitley Fussell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Brown Boggan; sister, Louise Fussell; and brother, Huey Fussell.

Mrs. Fussell was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons: Richard Boggan of Douglas, GA, Randy Boggan, James Boggan and Michael Boggan all of Ambrose, GA; sister, Mary Lou Fussell Carver of Broxton, GA; brother: Troy Fussell of Ambrose, GA; grandchildren: Sherry Wicker, Sheila Adams and Pamela Talkington all of Douglas, GA, Matthew Boggan and Rachael Boggan both of Ambrose, GA, Daniel Boggan of Valdosta, GA; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church where Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiated. The interment followed in Mt. Union Cemetery where Rev. Mitchell Deems conducted the committal service.

 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
