Coffee County Schools announces Pre-K registration for 2018-19 school term

Public registration for Coffee County Pre-K Program for 2018-2019 school term will take place March 13 and 14, 2018 at Coffee Middle School Auditorium 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. (Note school dates below) Registration Packets are available for pickup at all Elementary Schools and The Enrollment Center starting Feb. 1, 2018.

March 5-9: Coffee County School System Employees may register THEIR CHILD during Early Registration at the Enrollment Center. (This does not include grandchildren or other relatives of school employees.) March 13: Ambrose, Indian Creek, Nicholls and Satilla Elementary Schools. March 14: Broxton, Eastside, West Green and Westside Elementary Schools

Elementary Schools please post Pre-K Registration Information on your school marque.

For a student to be registered for Georgia Pre-K, the following items must be presented at registration: Completed Registration Packet; Certified Birth Certificate; Proof of Residency 

The following items are considered Proof of Residency: Current lease; Property Tax Notice; Homeowners Insurance bill; Vehicle Registration form; Bill listing residence as the service address. (Cell phone bill or driver’s license is not valid as Proof of Residency)

To complete the enrollment process the additional current documents are required: Certificate of Immunization (Form #3231); Certificate of Eye, Ear, Dental and Nutrition (Form #3300); Copy of child’s Social Security Card or “Opt Out”* Letter (*Available at Enrollment Center); (If applicable) Verification of Category One; Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP); Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
Medicaid; Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF); Child and Parent Services (CAPS)

Transfer requests for Pre-K will be accepted starting March 15 AFTER county wide registration is completed. Transfer requests may be turned in to the Central Office Receptionist. These requests will be considered on a seat availability and first return basis. Please note acceptance of this form, does not confirm a transferal request. Parents/Guardian will receive a letter of approved/denied along with information concerning Pre-K Orientation in June 2018.
