Preview Day is a great way to learn about what SGSC has to offer such as the academic support programs. Pictured are (L-R) Alexandra Cardiel, Academic Success Specialist, and Andrew Williams, STEM Center Coordinator at a past Preview Day on the Douglas Campus.

There is nothing quite like “being there” to know that you have found the college that matters most. South Georgia State College (SGSC) is hosting two Spring Preview Days to provide prospective students with opportunities to experience what our college has to offer.

Preview Day for the Waycross Campus will be Friday, March 2, 2018, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Educational Building. The campus is located at 2001 South Georgia Parkway in Waycross, Ga.

Preview Day for the Douglas Campus will be Friday, April 13, 2018, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Peterson Hall. The campus is located at 100 W. College Park Drive in Douglas, Ga.

Once you arrive on campus and register, the day will kick off with an informational session designed to familiarize you with SGSC, the admissions process, our academic offerings, and life as a Hawk. Student organization advisors and members will be present so parents and potential students can ask them what it is like to attend the school and participate in one or more of the many clubs and organizations that make up student life. Guided tours of the academic halls and other campus amenities will be led by SGSC’s admissions staff. A tour of the residence halls will be included on the Douglas Campus. A complimentary lunch will be provided by SGSC at each campus for guests.

For more information and to register for Preview Day, please visit www.sgsc.edu/previewday.
