Mrs. Elizabeth Gladys Eldridge Webster, age 97 of Douglas, passed away Friday afternoon, February 23, 2018, at Vista Park following an extended illness. She was born November 4, 1920 to the late Milton Hicks LaGrone and the late Lula Naomi Wingate LaGrone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Albert Webster; son, Charles Randale (Moose) Eldridge; grandson, Phillip Don Eldridge; brothers: Paul, Scott and E. J. LaGrone; and sisters: Lucille Davis and Juanitta West.

Mrs. Webster, a native of Doerun, GA was a longtime member of Oakgrove First Church of God in Tampa, FL. After moving to Douglas in 2001 she attended College Avenue Baptist Church and Sand Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons: James Clyde Eldridge, Jerry Wayne Eldridge and his wife June, Don
Eldridge and his wife Fran all of Douglas, GA; sister, Bonnie Genrich of Plant City, FL; grandchildren: Eric Eldridge and Chris Eldridge both of Brandon, FL., Brian Eldridge of Leesburg, FL., Randy Eldridge, Matt Eldridge and his wife Karen, Debbie Park and
her husband James all of Douglas, GA., Kellie Lynn Vail of Plant City, FL., Ken Eldridge of Hinesville, GA., Susan Wilson of Lake City, FL; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Special recognition is given to Karen Rodgers, Shonda Williams, Angie Smith, Lisa Lombardi and Elaine Smith for the love and many hours of care they provided through the years.

The funeral service was held on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at 2 P.M. at Sand Hill Baptist Church where Rev. Mark Mercer and Rev. Ed Lycett officiated. The interment followed in Sand Hill Church Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
