Mrs. Marsha Elaine Hines, age 57, of Douglas, Ga. passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in Douglas, Ga. Mrs. Hines was born to Rev. Eldridge Lee Turner and Voncile Turner of Ft. Myers, Florida.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Voncile Turner.

Marsha, husband (Wayne) and children moved to Douglas, GA 29 years ago from Kissimmee, Florida.  Marsha loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a bank teller for a while then went into the real estate business and after 8 years she became a real estate broker and acquired ownership of Premium Properties, in Douglas.  Many times during these years Marsha had received the circle of excellence and award for selling over 1 million dollars in sales in a year.  For two years she served as president of the Douglas Coffee Board of Realtors, and Realtor of the Year in 2014. Marsha lived and loved life to the fullest. When she was not working she was enjoying the beach or kayaking down the river. Through her battle with cancer, her faith remained strong. She is loved by all that knew her. We will miss you, Marsha.

Marsha is survived by: her husband, Wayne Hines of Douglas, Ga; sons: Michael David Hines of Douglas, Ga., Christopher Blake Hines, of Douglas, Ga; grandchildren: Parker Hines, Morgan Hines, Adia Hines, Brooke Hines all of Douglas, Ga; brother, David Turner of Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Anita and husband Tom Rice of Douglas, Ga.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the West Ward Street Church of God.
