Mrs. Myrtice O. Spivey, age 93, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Douglas, GA. Mrs. Spivey was born on November 13, 1924, in Alma, GA to the late David Trowell and Sarah Deen Trowell.

She was a homemaker and a member of Broxton Church of God.

Mrs. Spivey was preceded in death by: her first husband, Leroy Music and second husband, James Spivey; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Ron Williams; daughter-in-law, Glenda Music; brothers: Donald Trowell and Gene Trowell; sister, Velma Daniel; grandchildren: Dusty Music and Brandon Music.

She is survived by: her daughters: Christine and husband Billy Coleman of Hazlehurst, GA, Shirley and husband Glennon Seaman of Mobile, AL, Sandra Hutchinson of Biloxi, MS, Sue and husband Gary Anderson of Douglas, GA, Pat Hope of Hazlehurst, GA; sons: Roy Music of Alma, GA, Ronnie  and wife Cowanna Music of Douglas, GA, Danny Music of Nicholls, GA, Glennon  and wife Kathy Music of ARK, Jimmy Music of Douglas, GA; sisters: Alice Kinlaw of Alma, GA, Nell Knowles; brother, Vivian Deen of Alma, GA; 30 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral service was held on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at 3 p.m. at the Broxton Church of God where Rev. Milton Pate, Rev. Joey Copeland, and Rev. Carlton Ring officiated.  

Interment followed at the Broxton Church of God Church Cemetery.
