A convicted methamphetamine dealer is facing more prison time after Douglas-Coffee County drug agents discovered over 24 grams of meth during a search of his residence earlier this week.

50-year-old Kenneth Woodrow Mancil was convicted of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute in Coffee County Superior Court in November 2015 and was released from incarceration to serve the remainder of his sentence on parole in April 2017.

Agents with the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit executed a search of Mancil’s home at a location off Brittany Lane around 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 20. Once inside the home, authorities located a compartment built into the side of a bath tub, where they discovered a clear, plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine. Agents also located just under $3,000 in cash hidden in another location, along with digital scales commonly used in illegal drug trade.

Mancil later admitted to authorities he had been selling methamphetamine in the community for the last three to four months.

Mancil was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and is currently incarcerated at the Coffee County Jail.
