Earlier this year, Douglas Parks and Recreation Department purchased skate ramps from Savannah Leisure Services for skateboarding use at Eastside Park. Eastside Park now has several sized ramps for skaters to safely use located on the old tennis courts.
The Recreation Department also asks everyone to be mindful of others and not paint graffiti nor vandalize equipment at Eastside Park. Any safety issues of equipment should be reported to the Parks and Recreation Department at 912-384-5978.
