Callie Mae Dean, age 70, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Hospital Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Dean was born on July 11, 1947, in Moultrie, GA the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson McMillan and Nellie Viola Billings McMillan.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ervin Dean; son, Andy Dean; sisters: Marie Willis and Louise Kelly; and brothers: E.J. McMillan and Jackie McMillan.

Survivors include: daughters: Patricia Pace and husband Jimmy of Nicholls, GA., Liz Talkington of Douglas, GA., Shirley Massey and husband Jeffery of Woodbine, GA., Tammy Palomar and husband Raul of Gainesville, GA; sons: Michael Dean and wife April of Douglas, GA., Billy Dean and wife Amanda of Douglas, GA.; sister, Mary Williams of Ashburn, GA; brother, Jessie McMillan of Macon, GA; 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 11 A.M. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home where Rev. Edison Williams and Rev. Josh Lane officiated. Interment followed in McMillian Cemetery in Colquitt County.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
