Flent Carelock, age 58, of Broxton, GA passed away on Sunday May 6, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Carelock was born on September 1, 1959 in Coffee County, GA the son of Geneva Merritt Carelock and the late Earl Carelock.

He work as a truck driver for Helena Chemical Company and was a farmer.

Survivors include: his wife, Jamie (Carelock) Brown of Broxton; daughters: Alicia Brown of Broxton, GA and Raye Guthrie of Douglas, GA; sons: Corey Carelock of Broxton, GA, Chris Cater, Ryan Cater and Mason Cater all of Broxton, GA; mother, Geneva Carelock of Broxton, GA; sister, Zoe Powell of Ambrose, GA; brother, Ricky Carelock of Pridgen, GA; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel where Rev. Matt Rutland officiated. Interment followed at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
