On Monday, May 14, 2018, during the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting, the Mayor and Commission recognized Douglas Fire Department Firefighter William Thompson. Firefighter Thompson recently completed his certification at the GPSTC Training facility in Forsyth, Georgia.
