Nellie Estelle Harden, age 96, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at The Landings of Douglas following an extended illness. Mrs. Harden was born on November 7, 1921 in Ambrose, GA the daughter to the late Marvin Lee Day and Nellie Rachel Minix Day.
She worked as a seamstress and was a member of West Green Methodist Church.
Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by: her husband, Carswell Harden.
Survivors include: her son, Glenn Harden of St. Simons Island, GA;
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin John Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.
