Eunie BelleCraigue, age 86, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on April 15, 1932, in Wrightsville, GA the daughter of the late Dennis Columbus Toler and Henrietta Steptoe Toler.

Mrs. Craigue was owner/operator with her husband of Belle and Dick’s Hair Stylist, she was the first female barber in Maine. She was a veteran of The United States Navy serving from 1951 to 1958. Mrs. Craigue was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church, Douglas, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard Edgar Craigue; three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include: daughter, Karen Craigue and partner Teresa Thompson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son, Richard Craigue and wife Lisa of Douglas, GA; sisters: Adele Cantrell of Brunswick, GA, Sybil Kirkland of Bradenton, FL and Clara Powell of Guyton, GA; grandchildren: Ethan Craigue and Taylor Craigue Carver; great-grandson, Jaxon Bennett Carver; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 4 p.m. at First Congregational Church where Rev. Matt Rutland officiated. Interment followed at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
