Mrs. Lennie Lorene Teston Moore, age 63, of Hortense, GA, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 13, 2018, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL following an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was born February 11, 1955, to the late Warren Jasper Teston and the late Frances Surrency Teston. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by: brothers: Jimmy Ray Teston and Junior Teston.
Mrs. Moore, a native of Brunswick, GA, was a homemaker and a Member of Southview Church of God.
Survivors include: her husband, Wayne Moore of Douglas, GA; sons: Monroe Pritchard and his partner Bobby McQuaig of Hortense, GA., Robert Fussell and his wife Tammy of De Funiak Springs, FL., John Wayne Moore of Fort Lauderdale, FL; daughters: Catherine Dennison and her husband Allen and Jennifer Rose Moore all of Douglas, GA.; step-daughters: Harriett Gonzalez of Baxley, GA and Melissa Johnson of Unadilla, GA.; sister, Shirley Maulden of Waycross, GA.; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral service was held Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 2 P.M. at Southview Church of God where Rev. Johnny Smith and Rev. Bryon Griffis officiated. The interment followed in Roberts Cemetery near Nicholls where Rev. Scott Smith conducted the Committal Service.
Active Pallbearers were: Ricky Moore, Bobby Meeks, Wlliam Fussell, Robert J. Fussell, Larry Roberson, Ricky Woods, Samuel Grantham, Jerome Burch, Ivan Royals, Roy McClellan and Clayton Moore.
Special Musical Selections, “I Just Stopped By On My Way Home” and “Look What I Traded For A Mansion” were presented by Wendi Griffis and the Pianist, Marie Carter, “Jealous Of Angels” was presented by the Soloist, Joyce Roberts with Marie Carter, at the Piano and “Go Rest High On That Mountain” was presented by the Soloist, Ronald McMillan, with Marie Carter, at the Piano. At the Graveside, “Amazing Grace” was rendered by the Congregation, led by Ronald McMillan.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the Arrangements.
