Alma PD makes multiple arrests on drug charges, several arrests stem from traffic violations

Sunday, June 17, the Alma Police Department arrested Corveon Lashanedre White, 21 of Valdosta, for disorderly conduct and Akeen Rashann Mathis, 19 of Valdosta, for affray following a call on Stewart Drive.

Monday, June 18, Natasha Pugh, 22 of Alma, was arrested for affray stemming from a June 15 incident at MLK Park.

Tuesday, June 19, Stacy Tyle Lee, 47 of Alma, was arrested on an outstanding probation warrant through Bacon County.

Wednesday, June 20, Breanna Parrish, 21 of Alma, was arrested for affray stemming from the June 15 fight at MLK Park.

Wednesday evening, June 20, APD arrested Joshua James Hord, 29 of Jacksonville, FL, for possession of a schedule III controlled substance and drug-related objects following a traffic stop on S. Pierce St. for an equipment violation.

Thursday, June 21, APD arrested Gil Travis Myers, 54 of Walterboro, SC, for possession of Hydrocodone and Xanax, schedule II and schedule IV controlled substances, following a traffic stop on W. 12th St for a truck route violation.

Friday, June 22, APD arrested Tonya Surrency, 48 of Nicholls, for possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs following a traffic stop on W. 12th St. for a traffic violation.

Saturday, June 23, APD arrested Patrick Lee Tallent, 45 of Hoboken, for DUI, failure to stop at a stop sign, and striking a fixed object. Tallent’s arrest followed a crash on W. 4th St. and Douglas St. where Tallent failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into a yard, striking a pine tree. Tallent was also found to be a wanted fugitive in Glynn County.

Sunday, June 24, APD arrested Michael Barton, 23 of Alma, for driving without a driver’s license following a traffic stop for a busted windshield.
