Mildred Louise Harrison, age 88, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Bacon County Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Harrison was born on November 25, 1929, in Alabama the daughter of Oscar B. Harrison and Christine Webb Harrison.

She worked as a manager in local Department Stores.

Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by: daughters, Shelia Carter, Shirley Harper and Karen Lott; a sister, Betty Sellers; and step-mother, Louise Harrison.

Survivors include: her son, Tony Teston of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Cindy Lewis, Wendy Lewis, Shawn Carter, Lee Carter, April Pate, Brian Pate and David Lott; great-grandchildren: Courtlyn Fussell, Addison Lewis, Anna Carter and Drake Corbitt; great-great-grandchild, Tucker Corbitt; special friend, Louise Mitchell.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel where Rev. Mark Mercer officiated.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
