Wiregrass Regional College and Career Academy will be hosting an Open Campus Day August 1, 2018, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to drop by, tour the Career Academy and Wiregrass Tech campuses, and meet our friendly administrative personnel, teachers and outstanding students who will be happy to answer any of your questions.

WRCCA is located on the campus of Wiregrass Technical College in Douglas, GA and serves 9th – 12th grade school students in Coffee and the surrounding counties. At WRCCA, students take high school and college courses that are directly relevant to their career and educational goals. Classes are smaller with a great emphasis placed on individualized instruction, flexibility and career planning.  Students can graduate with a high school diploma and a college Technical College Certificate (TCC), diploma or associate degree at the same time.

The Coffee County School System opened WRCCA in 2013 as an innovative, non-traditional high school where high school students could choose to experience successful learning in a small, career-oriented setting.  A variety of exciting courses and career pathways are available from which to choose at Wiregrass Technical College and South Georgia State College.   All college courses are free while dually enrolled during high school, which is a huge saving to parents.

Please come to visit us on Wednesday, August 1, to see what WRCCA is all about!
