Shirley Elaine Salter, age 62, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Salter was born on January 30, 1956, in Seminole County, Georgia the daughter of the late Leon Howard Cross and the late Eddie Dean Hall Cross.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: daughters: Shannon Quinn and husband James of Douglas, GA an Olivia Salter Wingate of Tennessee; son, Jonathan Salter of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Jasmine Quinn, Axle Quinn, Josh Conway, Hanna Salter, Dalton Salter, Dillon Cobble, Dakota Salter, Morgan Salter and Nathan Salter; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial graveside services were held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery where Rev. William Pope officiated and Jerry Wooten gave the eulogy.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
