James Kevin ‘Jamie’ Vining

James Kevin “Jamie” Vining, age 45, of Broxton, passed away on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Vining was born on August 25, 1973 in Homerville, Georgia the son of the late James Orville Vining and Lillian Chaney Vining.

 

Mr. Vining was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Vining, and a sister, Gail Mullis.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Amber Reddy and spouse Brooke of Douglas; son Chris Stone and wife Sara of Broxton; brother Johnny Brown of Willacoochee; two sisters, Ann Spivey of Willacoochee and Ellen Smith of Pearson; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service was held on Saturday September 22, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Memorialization was by cremation.

 

Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.simsfuneralhome.com.

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
