Barbara J. Knight, age 67, of Broxton, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. Mrs. Knight was born on May 24, 1951 in Douglas, the daughter of the late Isom Jewell and Oneda Phillips Jewell.

 

She was a homemaker and a member of Broxton Church of God.

 

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Knight.

 

Survivors include son, Stephen Knight (wife Kandi) of Broxton; daughter, Maggie Winters (husband Clint) of Broxton; step-daughter, Tracey Roberson (husband Tony) of Broxton; four grandchildren, Kaylee Sears, Jordan Knight, Emily Winters and Peyton Winters; two step-grandchildren, Trey Roberson and Taylor Lanier; four great grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Tempa Knight of Broxton.

 

Funeral services were held on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at 11 am at Broxton Church of God with Rev. Milton Pate and Rev. David Bowen officiating. Interment followed at Rocky Creek Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Jordan Knight, Wesley Sears, Anthony Smith, Stanley Williams, Padien Lanier, Jagger Levens and Peyton Winters.

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
