Ms. Patricia Ann Hester Arnold, age 56 of Douglas, passed away Sunday morning, October 14, 2018 at her residence following a short illness. Ms. Arnold was born December 19, 1961 to the late Buster Hester and the late Lera Mixon Hester Deen. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny Hester, Billy “Squeeky” Hester, Freeman Hester and Richard Hester and a brother-in-law, Elisha Anderson.
Ms. Arnold was a line worker for Elixir Industries. She was a member of Covenant Christian Church.
Survivors include: daughters Marcia Davis and her husband Kris, and Denise Gaskins and her husband Chris, all of Douglas; siblings Becky Anderson of Nicholls, Jimmy Hester, Bobby Hester, Dewayne Deen, Debra Davis and Vicki Deen, all of Douglas; nine grandchildren; great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be Saturday afternoon, October 20, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Mock officiating. The interment will follow in the Anderson Cemetery near Nicholls.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, October 19, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ricketson Funeral Home.
