“There are 8,352 prophetic verses in the Bible. Many of these deal with the nation of Israel. We will discuss the entire Middle East as well as America and Israel, and how they are intertwined prophetically. There has been more prophecy fulfilled in the last 70 years than there has been in the previous 2,000,” says Dr. Sherlock Bally, a world-renowned pastor and the Christian Allies Caucus’s liaison between the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament) and the pastors of North America. This position has put Dr. Bally in a unique position of being the bridge between the spiritual leaders of both North America and Israel.

Dr. Bally will be in Douglas for a series of three meetings, all of which will be held at the Coffee Middle School auditorium. The meetings will be Thursday, Nov. 8, and Friday, Nov. 9, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday’s meeting will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Dr. Bally will discuss end times prophecy, particularly the special relationship that exists between America and Israel.

While Israel is the epicenter of end times events, the United States also plays a significant role in those events. “America’s inception parallels that of Israel,” Dr. Bally says. “For example, Israel came through the sea to the promised land, as did America. At one time in its history, America was divided into north and south, as was Israel. There were actually 13 tribes of Israel – the tribe of Joseph was split into two tribes – as there were 13 original colonies in America. And Israel became a country on May 14, 1948. The first American colony was established on May 14, 1601.”

Dr. Bally believes that Israel continues to be a target of persecution by nations around the globe because of the special relationship it has with Almighty God. “The world tends to appease the oil producing nations. Israel has never caused a war, never initiated an attack, and it’s used great restraint. Yet it’s the most sanctioned and attacked country in the world. It has no oil, no gold, no wealth. Israel is hated because it is chosen as God’s special nation,” he says.

In addition to traveling the globe conducting prophecy meetings, he is also the Executive Director of the Caribbean Allies for the Israel Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to bringing the Caribbean into a closer relationship to the Knesset.  He travels with members of the Israeli Parliament and speaks to prime ministers and Parliaments concerning voting for Israel in the United Nations.  He has had the honor of meeting with prime ministers, kings and presidents of nations to speak of the Abrahamic Covenant and the vital importance of standing with the nation of Israel.  Dr. Bally travels between eight nations a year speaking at conventions, seminars and crusades. A native of Trinidad, Dr. Bally has written 13 books and produced a number of DVDs and CDs. He has been married to his wife, Renee, for 40 years. Together, they have two children – Rachel and Micah.
