The Coffee County Farm Bureau YF&R Junior Board is proud to announce their November Ag Spotlight student, Jack Lingenfelter. The purpose of the Ag Spotlight is to feature a member of the FFA or 4-H who has exemplified attributes such as leadership, determination, diligence and charity.

Jack is the son of Nathan and Kellie Lingenfelter of Douglas. He is an 8th grade student at Coffee Middle School and currently serving as the Coffee Middle School FFA Vice President. He has participated in FFA for three years and plans to continue participating throughout high school. He was also an active participant in 4-H for two years.

Jack competes in Creed, Land Evaluation, Chapter of Conduct and Livestock Evaluation. During the summer, he attended the UGA Livestock Judging Camp and has attended FFA camp for the past two years. He also attended the 2018 South Region Chapter Officer Leadership Training Conference.

During his first year of Creed Speaking, he had the opportunity to compete at the FFA State Convention. The Coffee Middle FFA Chapter also won the 2018 South Region Colt Conference Opening and Closing Ceremonies. He thoroughly enjoys competing in CDE’s and plans to continue competing throughout his high school FFA experience as well as competing in goat and hog livestock showing.

Jack’s goal for next year is to run as an Area 6 FFA Officer.
