Satilla Regional Library System will be holding the following programs during the month of December for children and teens. Come and join the fun at Satilla Regional Library System!! Holiday Closings

Satilla Regional Library System will be closed on Monday, December 24-Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

Special Programs in December

Children’s Christmas Party at the Douglas-Coffee County Public Library

Join the fun as we have a Children’s Christmas Party in the Large Meeting Room on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room!! There will be games, food, fun, music, crafts, and prize giveaways! Join the fun as we celebrate the upcoming holidays!! Thank you to the Douglas Kiwanis Club for sponsoring this party!! Thank you to J&D Designs for your donation of prizes.

Teen Christmas Movie Social in Douglas

Monday, December 3, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room at the Douglas-Coffee County Public Library!!

Please come and join the fun as teens watch a fun holiday movie, make fun holiday crafts, and hang out with other teens!! Prizes giveaway! Thank you to J&D Designs for your donation of prizes.

Storytelling with Mrs. Julie at Christmas at the Pond, General Coffee State Park in Nicholls

Come join us at Christmas at the Pond at General Coffee State Park on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 5:00-10:00 p.m. as Miss Julie reads traditional Christmas stories. There will be storytelling, hot cocoa, cookies, Santa Claus and other fun holiday festivities at the park! Hope to see you there!! Come to any of our branches and check out a park pass for free parking!

Ongoing Programs

Board Games, Cards, and Puzzles for Children and Teens

All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time! Come and check one out to use at each location.

Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years of age!

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio! Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls throughout the year! Please call Mrs. Julie at (912) 384-4667 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations!!

Broxton: Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.

Ambrose: Tuesdays at 4:45 p.m.

Pearson: Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.

Willacoochee: Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m. 

Nicholls: Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.

Make n’ Take Crafts-All Day!!

Nicholls: Thursday, December 27, 2018-All Day!

Douglas: Monday, December 31, 2018-All Day!

Make n’ Take Crafts will be available all day at these locations. Come and enjoy a fun craft activity!!

Vote on a fun holiday movie to watch! Refreshments will be served.
