Herman ‘Bugg’ Lott

Herman “Bugg” Lott, age 80, of Mora, passed away peacefully on Friday December 7th, 2018 at his residence due to an extended illness. Mr. Lott was born on September 11, 1938 in Irwin County, the son of the late Willis Lott and Lura Mae Carver Lott.

 

He was a farmer and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

 

Mr. Lott was preceded in death by his wife, Elmarie Davis Lott and grandson, J.J. Heath.

 

Survivors include three daughters, Vicky Heath of Willacoochee, GA,  Lynn Royal of Willacoochee, GA, and Gina Smith (Ray) of Nahunta; one son, Ricky Lott; two sisters, Melba Jimenez (Paul) of Willacoochee and Winnell Whitley (Carroll) of Alapaha; one brother,  E.D. Lott(Sheree); 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren .

 

Funeral services were held on Monday December 10, 2018 at 2 pm at Hebron Baptist Church. Rev. Rodney Carter and Bro. Steve Smith officiated.  Interment followed in the church cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
