Martin Vickers, age 41, of Douglas, passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Vickers was born on June 6, 1977 in Coffee County, the son of Jerry F. Vickers and Sandra Faye Tanner Vickers.

 

He works as a computer technician, was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and worked in youth camps in Florida.

 

Survivors include his wife, Julie M. Vickers of Douglas; parents, Jerry and Sandra Vickers of Nicholls; sister, Miranda Vickers of Nicholls; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11 am at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
