Mr. Darryl Glenn McClelland, age 55 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 19, 2018 at Pruitt Health in Ocilla following an extended illness. Mr. McClelland was born July 24, 1963 to the late Leon Roger McClelland and the late Mary Jo O’Steen McClelland.

Mr. McClelland, a native of Coffee County, had been employed with Coffee Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse and had also previously worked with Coffee County E911 and Coffee Regional EMS. He attended Covenant Christian Church. 

Survivors include: Sister Gina Duss and her husband Greg of Tampa, Fla., brother Steve McClelland and his wife Beth of Douglas; step-mother Peggy F. McClelland of Douglas; step-sisters Becky McMillan and her husband Jeff of Willacoochee, Bonny Lott of Willacoochee, and Beth McClelland and her husband Steve of Douglas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Gregory Pope officiating. The interment followed in Rocky Pond Cemetery.

 

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
