David Carver, age 51, of Broxton, passed away on Sunday December 23, 2018 at his mother’s residence in Broxton. Mr. Carver was born on December 21, 1967 in Coffee County, the son of Elmer Stanford Carver Jr. and Ruby Jean Burnam Carver.

 

He was a master carpenter and was of the Pentecostal faith.

 

Survivors include his father, Stan Carver (Paula) of Arizona; mother, Ruby J. Carver of Broxton; sister, Rhonda Newell (Bruce) of Broxton; brother, James Carver of Broxton; children of whom he raised, Jessica Relaford and Shannon Adair; companion, Debra Relaford of Douglas; six nieces and nephews, Chris Wyant of Arizona, Casey Wyant of Broxton, Cami Wyant of Broxton, Cheyanne Hutto of Broxton, Alexander Carver of Kanas City, Missouri, and Erica Carver of Arizona.

 

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2 pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allan Peacock and Rev. Charles Burnam officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service.

 

Memorialization is by cremation.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
