In November, DyAnna Hayes of Douglas was crowned the 2019 USA National Miss Georgia Teen. Her win now gives her the opportunity to compete for the title of USA National Teen, as well as a $5,000 scholarship, at the national pageant this summer at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

Along with outstanding young women from across the United States, DyAnna will travel to Disney World July 7-13, 2019, for the highly anticipated USA National Miss Scholarship Pageant.  Representing Georgia, DyAnna will compete in evening gown, interview, fitness, casual wear, and runway fashion event in order to claim the honor of being crowned USA National Teen.

DyAnna is the daughter of Brandon Hayes of Alapaha, and Misty Hampton of Douglas.  Her grandparents are Emmett and Brenda Hampton of Ambrose, Larry Hayes of Willacoochee, and Mike and Marie Hayes-Baldree from Nashville, Ga. DyAnna is a junior at Atkinson County High School, where she has been a member of FBLA for three years and now serves as vice president. She is a Diamond Doll for the Atkinson County Rebels baseball team. She has also been invited to the Beta Club.  DyAnna is on track to graduate from Atkinson County High School as an honor graduate in 2020, and plans to attend the University of Georgia after graduation to obtain a degree in criminal justice.  Her plans include becoming a crime scene investigator with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

USA National Miss provides young women ages 4 to 25 with the opportunity to combine their love of pageantry with other optional elements to custom design their pageant experience – whether their focus is on fashion and modeling, or talent, education, community service, and mentorship.  Awarding six prestigious national titles, USA National Miss has awarded nearly a million dollars in cash, prizes and full ride college scholarships since 2010.  Delegates can also earn titles, crowns, prizes and scholarship money in optional competitions in areas of interest to them including academies, community service and talent.

“USA National Miss combines all the beauty and excitement of pageantry with the glamor and energy of a runway fashion show – while recognizing the personal achievement, community involvement and academic excellence of young women all across the4 USA,” says USA National Miss Founder Jackie Watson.  “Our program is designed to award young women for their accomplishments, and to mentor them to reach their goals and unleash their true potential, while encouraging them to be articulate young women with a strong sense of self-worth.”
