The Coffee County Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Junior Board is proud to announce their January Ag Spotlight student, Elizabeth Crews. The purpose of the Ag Spotlight is to feature a member of the FFA or 4-H who has exemplified attributes such as leadership, determination, diligence and charity.
Elizabeth Crews, a senior at Coffee High is an active member of the Coffee FFA and 4-H. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Coffee FFA vice-president, she has also served as sentinel, junior officer and reporter.
Elizabeth has been an active 4-H member since the 4th grade when she began showing horses at the local and state level. She qualified three times for the Southern Regional Championship Show. She has also competed in DPA where she presented a project on outdoor survival skills.
She has attended Colt Officer training, the South Region Rally, the University of Georgia Livestock Judging camp, University of Tennessee Livestock Judging camp and Fort Valley Judging camp.
Elizabeth thoroughly enjoys riding, training and working with horses, her FFA SAE is Equine Entrepreneurship. Elizabeth is the daughter of David and Malissa Crews of Douglas.
