Wendy Rae Tompkins, age 51, of Douglas, passed away on Sunday January 27, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Tompkins was born on September 20, 1967 in Coffee County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Linda Crozier.

 

She worked as an ophthalmic etch with Murphy Eye Center and was a member of Covenant Church.

 

Survivors include her son, Colby Tompkins of Douglas; several nieces and nephews, Katie Spikes, Amber Spikes, Lianna Kirkland, Caden Spikes, Caleb Borotto, Levi Williams, Raylynn Martinez, Mercedes Martinez and Hollyn Booth.

 

Memorial services will be held on Friday February 1, 2019 at 6 pm at Covenant Church with Rev. Gregory Pope officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 pm until 6 pm prior to the service at the church.

 

Memorialization is by cremation.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
