Quillian Hall Ward Jr., age 83 of Broxton, passed away on Monday January 28, 2019. Mr. Ward was born on August 22, 1935 in West Green, the son of the late Quillian Hall Ward Sr. and Lourine McConnell Ward. He was a retired boilermaker and was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ward and brother, Gene Ward.

 

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Davis (Don) of Broxton and Joy Ward of Broxton; son Jimmy Ward (Sue) of Hazlehurst; brother, Johnny Ward of Douglas; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

 

Graveside services were held on Thursday January 31, 2019 at 2 pm at Lone Hill Cemetery with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating.

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
