Mrs. Carolyn Pharr Smith, age 78, of Pearson, passed away, Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas following an extended illness.
Survivors include: Husband Harry Smith of Pearson; son Wayne Smith and wife June of Douglas; daughters Caroline Roberts and husband Mark of Douglas and Harriett Sutton and husband Frank of Nashville; sister Mary Torelli of Douglas; sister-in-law Dot Tuckers of Pearson; brother-in-law Melvin Lewis Davis and wife Lou of Hilton Head, S.C.; grandchildren Lee Sutton, Kari Sutton, Stephanie Sutton, Ivy Roberts, Michael Roberts, Noah Erdmire, and Staten Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Smith were held Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Douglas with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating. The internment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson was in charge of the arrangements.
