Mr. Gerald Lee Riddle, Sr., age 65 of Douglas, passed away Tuesday night, February 12, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Riddle was born July 24, 1953 to Ida Fay Ward Riddle and the late H. M. Riddle.
Mr. Riddle was a native of Los Angeles. He was an independent contractor for a cyber security company. He was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include: wife Shirley Patricia Kelley Riddle of Douglas; son John Wayne Riddle of Texas; daughter Jeri Lynn Riddle Vargas of Hollis, Oklahoma; mother Ida Fay Ward Riddle of Dobson, Texas; step-son Robert Shawn Blizzard of McRae; step-daughter Lisa Youngblood of North Carolina; brothers Jim Riddle and Jeff Riddle, both of Los Angeles; sister Jennifer Marie Riddle Wallis of Fort Lauderdale; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date in Texas.
