Mr. Harley Ray Chaney, age 20 of West Green, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Chaney was born July 5, 1998 to Linda Gail Wilkinson Chaney and the late Billy D. Chaney. Mr. Chaney was employed as a farm worker with Ricky Lott.

Survivors include: Mother Linda Gail Wilkinson Chaney of West Green; brothers Billy Chaney and wife Stephanie of Hazlehurst, Jimmy Chaney and wife Stephanie of West Green, and Thomas Chaney of West Green; fiancée: Ashley Watkins of West Green; maternal grandfather Bervon Wilkinson and wife Kaye of Douglas; maternal grandmother Inez Lewis and husband John of Douglas; aunts Debra Vickers and husband Kirby of Ambrose, Heather Keddie and husband Joe of Mountain Home, Idaho; uncles James Wilkinson and wife Rhonda of Quitman, Mississippi, and Gary Wilkinson and wife Brenda of Douglas; nephew Billy Chaney of Hazlehurst; numerous cousins and a host of friends

The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Elder Ray Wilkinson officiating. The inurnment will follow at a later date. 

]Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
