Mrs. Geraldine Lenora Randleman Anderson

Mrs. Geraldine Lenora Randleman Anderson, age 83 of Douglas, passed away Sunday morning, March 17, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Anderson was born April 26, 1935 to the late Oral Randleman and the late Mabel Matthews Randleman. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Pierce Lewis Randleman and Floyd Randleman. 

Mrs. Anderson was a native of St. Clair, Missouri. She was a member of Church of God of Anderson, Indiana and a member of TOPS.

Survivors include:  Husband of 67 years, Col. James E. Anderson of Douglas; children Randall Lewis Anderson of Houston, Texas, Elizabeth Lara-Jackson of Douglas, Douglas George Anderson of Cumming, and Adrian Anderson of St. Charles, Illinois; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held, Friday morning, March 22, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Williams officiating. The interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, March 21, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Gideons International
