On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce and community members celebrated the grand opening of State Farm Insurance Agency operated by Ted Wilkes, Agent. Ted and his wife, Heather Deems Wilkes were joined by their son, Austin, who also works at the agency. Dr. Don Hattaway, Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Douglas, shared words of encouragement and prayed for God’s blessings over the Wilkes family and their business endeavors.

On behalf of the City of Douglas, Ms. Wynetta Bolder shared inspirational thoughts and offered her services to the family business, if ever needed. The Chamber Board’s Past Chairman Stanley Lott shared his support for the Wilkes family and thanked them for returning to the Douglas-Coffee County community to establish their business.

Agent Ted Wilkes and his staff are ready to assist with all your insurance needs. Give them a call at 912-292-0455 or go by and see them at 1004 W. Ward Street next door to McCrae’s Pharmacy just across from the hospital.
