Mr. Bobby Darrell Dupree, age 50, of Douglas, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 25, 2019 in Nashville following a short illness. Mr. Dupree was born February 18, 1969 to the late William Terry Dupree and the late Ernestine Spivey Dupree. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Nancy Dupree and Louise Dupree.
Mr. Dupree, a native of Orlando, was formerly a truck driver with Peacock Oil of Baxley. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include: His wife: Pamela Jewell Dupree of Douglas; daughter Cassie Garrett of Fleming Island, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; stepchildren Devin Bullock, Rachel Bullock and Lori Anne Bullock, all of Douglas; siblings Jerry Dupree of Nicholls, Glen Dupree of Hazlehurst, Russell Dupree of the Snipesville Community, Lynda Gail Rogers of Douglas, and Melissa Gilliard of Nicholls; grandchildren Linda Bullock, Ilijah Nugent, Jagger Nugent, and Jett Nugent; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral service was Sunday afternoon, April 28, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Michael Jackson, Bishop Justin Morris and Elder Ashley Wood officiating. The interment followed in Cumorah Cemetery.
