Mrs. Marie Lott McDonald, age 76 of Willacoochee, passed away Thursday morning, April 25, 2019, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. McDonald was born March 12, 1943 to the late Clarence Lott and the late Hazel Dillingham Lott. Mrs. McDonald was a native of Douglas. She was a homemaker and she was also of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include: Her husband of 57 years, Jesse Eugene McDonald of Willacoochee; children Patrick McDonald and wife Suni of Warner Robins, Mickey McDonald and wife Rebecca of Columbia , S.C., Marcus McDonald of Alabama, Keith McDonald of Valdosta, Kyle McDonald of Willacoochee, Kirk McDonald and wife Alyia of Douglas, and Andy McDonald of Valdosta; brother H. M. Lott and wife Anne of Baxley; sisters Margie Hunkapiller of Willacoochee, Judy Seward of Nashville, and Jean Grice of Brunswick; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The graveside service and interment were held Sunday afternoon, April 28, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Willacoochee with Rev. George Carroll Paulk, Father Ron Milkas and Patrick McDonald officiating. 

Active pallbearers were Kade McDonald, Kason McDonald, Ben Smith, Randall Busbin, Erik Grignon, Glenn Luke, and Jonathan Babcock.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
