Rev. Charles Farrell Harper

Rev. Charles Farrell Harper, age 84, of Broxton, passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Harper was born on August 27, 1934 in Coffee County, the son of the late Charles Henry Harper and Anna Jowers Harper.

He was a retired minister, farmer and a member of Wray Holiness Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn Merritt Harper of Broxton; two sons, Marc Harper (Ben) of Douglas and Michael Harper (Debbie) of Broxton; three grandchildren, Chase Harper of Broxton, Cody Harper of Broxton, and Reed Overstreet of Soperton; three great grandchildren, Madison Overstreet, McKenzie Overstreet and Laydon Harper; sister, Mary Jo McCallum of Douglas; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday June 1, 2019 at 2 pm at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Harper, Rev. Charles Blair and Rev. Hugh Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Bethany Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, West Green Church of God Social Hall Fund, 7950 George Deen Road, 7950 George Deen Rd., West Green, GA 31567.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
