Mr. James Harold McConnell

Mr. James Harold McConnell, age 90 of Douglas, passed away Friday morning, June 14, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. McConnell was born August 3, 1928 to the late Warren Coryell McConnell and the late Carol Amelia Cooke McConnell.

Mr. McConnell, a native of Bath, NY, had retired as a self-employed real estate broker. He attended West Ward Church of God. He was a member of the Coffee County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife: Nancy Ruth Morey McConnell of Douglas; sons James McConnell of Douglas and Christopher McConnell of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren Christian McConnell of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Erin Russ McConnell of Willacoochee; three great grandchildren; sisters Martha Henderson of Lansing, Michigan and Janice Ogden of Penn Yan, NY; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
