American Legion Post 515 holds drawing, raises over $5,000

Tammy Wilkerson of Douglas won the grand prize in the American Legion Post 515’s Wreaths Across America fund-raiser last weekend. The grand prize was a large grill. Jerry Stone of Pearson won the second place prize of a Shop-Vac while Ed Chaney of Douglas received the third place prize – a coffee maker. The drawings were held at Ole Times Country Buffet.

The fund-raiser raised over $5,000 which will go toward the $40,000 needed to place flags and wreaths on over 2,700 veterans’ graves in 74 cemeteries in 2019. To contribute to American Legion Post 515, send checks to:

American Legion Post 515 Inc.
